Child Care Subsidies are now available across New York City. These vouchers can be used for any type of child care provider and can save parents an average of $15,000 per year (per child) in child care expenses. Parents must be living in New York City or and meet income restrictions.
There is also a new Facilitated Enrollment Scholarship Program. The Scholarship Program serves families who are not eligible to apply under current subsidy/Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) guidelines and include families earning up to 400% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL), episodic workers, and undocumented children. This scholarship can be used for any type of licensed child care provider and can save parents an average of $17,000 per year (per child) in child care expenses.
