Social Media Curator Intern (Unpaid Position, College Credit Available for Successful Applicants)
The Workers World Today is seeking an intern who will work as a social media curator. The intern must possess strong writing skills, a passion for social justice issues, and an enthusiasm for storytelling.
The successful candidate must write great headlines (with an emphasis on grammar/spelling excellence) and knows how to frame stories for social media, particularly Twitter and Facebook.
Responsibilities include composing posts/tweets for Facebook and Twitter, editing headlines, choosing art for stories, tracking social media measurements and suggesting ways to enhance The Workers World Today social presence.
The successful applicant will have writing experience as well as knowledge of WordPress and online community engagement.
