After months of tireless negotiations, workers finally secured substantial wins including pay increases and enhanced job security. “This achievement highlights the power of collective action and the unwavering determination of our automotive workforce. Companies can achieve positive change when they are willing to fairly negotiate with workers. “This historic agreement with Ford sets a precedent for fair compensation and job security, setting a clear expectation for General Motors and Stellantis. The world is watching closely, and we expect GM and Stellantis to engage in meaningful negotiations to address worker concerns.” Lander previously sent letters to General Motors and Stellantis on behalf of the New York City retirement systems. |
