Workers’ World Today is a free publication that empowers all workers, regardless of social or political affiliations. Distributed throughout New York City, our paper has a mission to educate workers and provide them with relevant information pertinent to the workforce such as workers’ compensation, discrimination on the job, workers’ rights, and more.
Dear Friends and Neighbors,
Together we have built and supported community resilience that has been put to the test this year as we have navigated multiple crises. I encourage the community to mark their calendars this weekend, Saturday, November 28th, 2020, a significant shopping weekend for Small Business Saturday and shop local. I urge the community to support the 43rd Assembly District’s independent, locally-owned neighborhood shops, restaurants, cafes, and stores.
As the holidays are quickly approaching us, my office has comprised The 43rd Assembly District Small Business Guide and The 43rd Assembly District Dine Local Guide, both of which feature some of the small businesses throughout the district. The guides showcase local businesses with unique items for all of your loved ones this season and throughout the year.
As you peruse the guides, I hope you recognize the vital impact our local businesses have on our community. By choosing local and independent businesses for your services, you not only enjoy a more distinctive and personal experience, but you’re also helping to strengthen your local economy, increase community wealth, and create new jobs and opportunities. You can download your copy of the guide below.
We must continue to invigorate the community by shopping local. Take advantage of this major shopping weekend! Friends and Neighbors are asked to continue to patronize local businesses from now until December 31st.
Make this Holiday Season a personable experience you won’t forget!
