Workers’ World Today is a free publication that empowers all workers, regardless of social or political affiliations. Distributed throughout New York City, our paper has a mission to educate workers and provide them with relevant information pertinent to the workforce such as workers’ compensation, discrimination on the job, workers’ rights, and more.
Housing Works employees have been organizing a union for almost two years. After finally receiving an election date from the Brooklyn Labor Board last month, Housing Works management and their union avoidance lawyers appealed the decision to Trump’s Labor Board in DC to stop workers having a vote in a union ballot.
Please watch the workers tell their full story in this video and share the video on social media to help send Housing Works management the message that they must withdraw the appeal to DC and let workers have their vote!
